In the Culture Reserve Åsens By you can travel back to the year 1900 to see what life in the Småland countryside was like then. Here, you can wander around on your own, stay overnight or take part in various activities and experience horse-powered farming of the past. As in times gone by, the food on the table is determined by the season and the availability of local produce, and during the summer months, native Swedish breeds graze in the old cultural landscape.
Row out on the beautiful Lake Bunn and enjoy the tranquillity, or go fishing from the boat. The lake has a rich fish fauna including perch, pike and pike-perch. Fishing permits can be purchased at www.ifiske.se (in Swedish)
